This not only ensures better weight distribution and therefore better bike handling, but it also makes it possible to take the battery with you (for recharging).
The U500 is equipped with four levels of support. You can easily adjust the bicycle: change the saddle height and handlebar angle to set your ideal riding position. The handles of the bike are ergonomic and rotatable, so you can find the best position for yourself. The Continental tyres have low rolling resistance and double puncture protection with good cushioning. In addition, the geometry ensures that you can ride comfortably.
The battery has a range of approximately 70 kilometres. The U500 is equipped with a Shimano5000 mid-motor, one of the most well-known motor systems built by Shimano. The mid-mounted motor and geometry of the U500 provide a stable and reliable riding experience. The bike is easily connected to Shimano’s E-Tube app which allows you to see how full the battery is, install software updates and change settings.
